Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is beginning to stamp his authority on his squad at White Hart Lane, having signed Swansea City duo Ben Davies and Michel Vorm, but there is still one position that will be causing the Argentinian boss a headache.

Spurs have struggled for an out-and-out centre forward to lead the line in recent seasons, with last summer’s big money signing from Valencia, Roberto Soldado, having struggled to adapt to Premier League football.

Neither Emmanuel Adebayor nor Harry Kane appear to be the answer, meaning that Pochettino could swoop for one of these five strikers this summer to try and get the goals flowing.

Wilfried Bony (Swansea City)

Powerful striker Wilfried Bony, who enjoyed a fine debut season in English football for Swansea City, seems to be one of the players heading the list for Pochettino, although it is likely to take a huge fee to persuade the Swans to part from their star asset, having already allowed Michu to move on this summer.
