Mesut Ozil will not feature in the Community Shield or Arsenal’s first Premier League game of the season.
The 25-year-old midfielder is not yet back in preseason training, as he is being given extra time off following a long – and triumphant – World Cup campaign with Germany.
Ozil is currently on holiday with girlfriend Mandy Capristo, who uploaded the below image to Instagram on Thursday.
