Ex-Manchester United Manager David Moyes Linked With Premier League Return With West Ham

Former United boss could make quick return to management.Former Manchester United manager David Moyes could be set for a quick return to the Premier League dugout with West Ham United, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Scot, who was sacked by United in April after a disastrous season in charge at Old Trafford, is supposedly a leading contender to take the Hammers job if the club decide to part company with current manager Sam Allardyce.

Moyes was also linked with the Galatasaray job earlier this summer, but could remain in England and look to rebuild his career in the top flight after his embarrassing spell with United looks to have undone all memory of his fine job at previous club Everton.

Allardyce’s future looks bleak at Upton Park, with the former Blackburn Rovers boss known to be at loggerheads with the club’s owners over certain team selection decisions as well as the side’s overall tactical philosophy.

Under pressure to deliver a more attacking brand of football, Allardyce has also been fairly unpopular with fans of the east London club, though Moyes’ sides have never particularly been known for their entertainment value either.

It is not yet clear if a change of managers is close, but Moyes is seemingly a leading contender to take over if the club do decide to act.
