White Hart Lane side to bring in PSV Eindhoven star .

Tottenham have reportedly agreed a deal to bring in highly rated Dutch international Memphis Depay according to the Daily Mirror.

The 20 year old PSV Eindhoven man had been strongly linked with a move to reunite with his former national team coach Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford but now seems set to move to north London.

The deal will cost Mauricio Pochettino’s side £10m and will also see Belgian winger Nacer Chadli return to the Eredivisie after a poor debut Premier League season.

Pochettino has already signed Eric Dier, Ben Davies and Michel Vorm and has moves in place for Mateo Musacchio and Morgan Schneiderlin and the Argentine will look to bring in Depay to improve his wide-attacking options.

The likes of Aaron Lennon, the aforementioned Nacer Chadli and Andros Townsend all struggled to impress last term and Icelandic international Gylfi Sigurdsson has left for Swansea City so there is certainly scope to improve the north London side’s attack.

Depay has represented PSV Eindhoven since the age of 12 and has racked up 22 goals in 84 appearances for the Dutch outfit.

During the summer World Cup finals Depay emerged to a wider audience, scoring twice in the competition and has been dubbed the ‘Dutch Cristiano Ronaldo’.
