Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo may have unwittingly dropped a hint that he is on his way to Manchester United this summer after following a number of the club’s stars on Instagram.

The Argentine international has been linked with a move to the Premier League since before the World Cup, and may now have dropped a huge hint that he is on his way to Old Trafford before the summer transfer window draws to a close by adding several United players on Instagram out of the blue.
He added United’s official account, plus those of Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Adnan Januzaj to his following list on Friday night.
The news comes after the Portuguese giants confirmed they’ve received several offers for the World Cup ace, and United are known to be looking hard to add a new defender to their ranks, after deals to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels and Arsenal’s Thomas Vermaelen collapsed.
Rojo can play as a centre-back or on the left, and would add some much needed dynamism to United’s back line.
