Man United Boss Admits Interest In Dutch Bargain Buys

Man United boss Louis van Gaal has confirmed his willingness to bring in talents from the Dutch national team set-up he presided over prior to taking over at Old Trafford according the London Evening Standard.

On the subject of interest in bringing in his compatriots van Gaal stated;

“Dutch players are usually cheaper than players of other nationalities and they have usually been very well educated in the Netherlands, I believe.

“If they are at the level I want them to be, then I will sign Dutch players.”

This comes amid speculation linking Daley Blind, Kevin Strootman and Nigel de Jong to Man United, with van Gaal perhaps looking to bring in further additons before the summer transfer window slams shut.

Man United have already forked out over £60m to bring in Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw from Athletic Bilbao and Southampton respectively.
