Argentina football legend Diego Maradona dished out a firm slap to a journalist on Saturday.
The 53-year-old, who led the South American nation to World Cup glory in 1986, was angered by the media, who surrounded his car after he attended the theatre with wife Veronica Ojeda and their young child.
Maradona is heard saying: “What is it, fool. Why mess with my wife if I do not mess with you?”
Before left the car, he said: “This is the a gift for my child. One of the first days I have spent with my son.”
He added: “I have a happy environment so stop breaking balls, because I am 53 years old and I’m not the ‘Dieguito’, my name is Diego Armando Maradona!”
It is claimed that the recipient of the Slap of God had gestured or winked towards Veronica.
