Goal.com claim that Jose Mourinho will look to bring in the 27 year old French international to help strengthen this attacking options though it’s not explained as to whether such a move would be a temporary or permanent switch.

Remy had been close to completing an £8.5m move to Liverpool but the deal broke down over a rumoured failed medical and the former Marseille man has returned to Loftus Road.

Mourinho brought in Diego Costa and Didier Drogba to boost his attack this summer with Demba Ba and Romelu Lukaku moving to Besiktas and Everton respectively and may see Remy as a solid, cost effective, option to pursue.

Remy spent last term out on loan at Newcastle United and scored 14 goals in 24 Premier League starts and may well jump at the chance of a short distance move from QPR to Chelsea even if such a move may well lead to something of a bit-part role behind the aforementioned Costa and Fernando Torres.
