Check in to Manchester United vs Swansea City
It’s hard to get anybody to agree on anything these days, and starting line ups are probably one of the most common causes for disagreements both in the pub and on the news desk. However, thanks to NixSocial we are able to bring you a team that was voted for by 150 journalists going into the 2014/15 season.
GK: Joe Hart – Manchester City
A bit of a surprise choice given the competition, but he has turned around the shaky form of last season to establish himself as one of the Premier League’s best once again.
LB: Leighton Baines – Everton
Though he may have struggled at the World Cup he provided goals and assists in abundance for the Toffees last term.
CB: Vincent Kompany – Manchester City
No surprises here, the City skipper showed just why he is considered as one of the best centre-backs in the world by leading the club to their second Premier League title.
CB: Laurent Koscielny – Arsenal
The Gunners ace made it into the side ahead of teammate Per Mertesacker, despite having a slightly less that exemplary disciplinary record.
RB: Mathieu Debuchy – Arsenal
The Arsenal new boy has already ousted Bacary Sagna at international level and is now set to push on in his place at the Emirates Stadium.
