Pop star Rihanna is set to take her strange new love of football to the next level by entering serious talks to buy Liverpool, according to the Metro.

The pop queen entered our hearts during the World Cup in Brazil, by brilliantly live-tweeting matches and adding her own unique insight.
And following reports that she is keen to invest in a Premier League club, Spanish source El Mundo Deportivo are claiming that Liverpool are her team of choice.
The report says that she has been advised by her close friend and Chelsea front man Didier Drogba to make a move for the Merseyside club.
Liverpool are currently owned by John W. Henry’s Fenway Sports Group and it’s unlikely that they’d want to sell, but Rihanna could bring considerable financial muscle.
However, it remains to be seen as to what she actually knows about running a massive club like Liverpool, and there would also be question marks over how much time she would spend on the day to day running of their affairs considering she will be missing for large parts of the year with tours.
