Tottenham Hotspur could be boosted in their pursuit of Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin, with the Serie A club reportedly ready to accept an offer of £10m plus Roberto Soldado, according to talkSPORT.
The north London side are hoping to make some big-name purchases before the end of the summer transfer window, with Mauricio Pochettino seemingly identifying Guarin as a player who could significantly strengthen his current options in midfield.
The Colombian international has been one of the top performers in that position in the Italian top flight, and is valued at around £14m by his club, though Spurs could now land him for even less than that.
Inter are known to be keen on signing a new striker this summer, having been linked with the likes of Javier Hernandez of Manchester United, and it is now claimed that they would be interested in taking Soldado on despite his poor first season at White Hart Lane.
The Spaniard, 29, joined in a big-money move from Valencia this time last year, but has been linked with an exit this summer after struggling to cope with the demands of English football and regain his best goalscoring form.
