Chelsea winger Victor Moses is set to undergo a medical ahead of an imminent move to join Stoke City on a season long loan deal according to The Sentinel.

The 23 year old Nigerian international will not complete the move in time to play for the Potters in their opener against Aston Villa but a deal would appear to bring an end to the club’s pursuit of Liverpool attacker Oussama Assaidi and Norwich City wide-man Nathan Redmond.

The former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic man spent last term on loan at Liverpool but failed to make an impact at Anfield.

Moses took part in the 2014 World Cup finals and may have hoped that he would figure in Jose Mourino’s plans for the upcoming campaign but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Chelsea signed Moses in 2012 in a £9m deal but has struggled to make an impact at the west London club and a move to Stoke City should help to get his career back on track and the speedy attacker will certainly hope to enjoy regular first team action he so desperately needs.
