World Cup winner Sami Khedira appears to be edging closer to a Bernabeu exit with the Sunday Mirror reporting that the midfielder’s representatives are in London looking to complete a summer move for their client.

The 27 year old has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid for some weeks and his absence from Carlo Ancelotti’s starting eleven in the recent Super Cup Final win over Sevilla may have proven the final straw for the tough tackling midfielder.
Khedira has just a year to run on his current deal and as such the Spanish giants are said to be keen on selling the former Stuttgart man now so as to avoid the prospect of losing the player on a free transfer next summer.
Real Madrid want at least £12m for Khedira and his agent is due to meet both Chelsea and Arsenal having already spoke with Bayern Munich.
Sami Khedira missed most of last term through injury but returned at the tail end of 2013/14 to help Real Madrid to a Champions League triumph before playing a key role in Joachim Low’s national team set-up in Brazil.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may see Khedira as a preferable steely option to the likes of Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini whilst Jose Mourinho could see the Real Madrid man as the man to replace David Luiz or perhaps an improvement on Serbian Nemanja Matic.
