Former City defender pokes fun at Toure over birthday controversy.
Check in to Newcastle United vs Manchester City
Former Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott has trolled his old team-mate Yaya Toure over a recent controversy involving his birthday celebrations at the club.
The Ivory Coast star was allegedly ready to leave the club because they didn’t make a big enough deal of his birthday, and Lescott has now joked that he could leave his new club West Bromwich Albion if they don’t get him a cake this year.
.@WBAFCofficial thank you but if I don’t get a cake I’m leaving. Lol #Joking
