Former White Hart Lane boss to take over as Eagles manager.

Check in to Crystal Palace vs West Ham United

Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood is apparently set to fill the vacant managerial post at Crystal Palace according to the Daily Star.

Tony Pulis surprisingly left the South London side just before the new season got underway, with speculation rife that his decision to leave Selhurst Park was down to a disagreement over new signings, leaving Keith Millen to take over on a caretaker basis as Crystal Palace fell to a last gasp defeat against Arsenal.

Sherwood left Tottenham in the summer having failed to secure a coveted top four finish but appears set to make a swift return to management.

The 45 year old will beat Malky Mackay and Chris Hughton to take over at the club and will bring his former assistant Les Ferdinand along with him as well as coach Chris Ramsey.

David Moyes had been linked with the job but the Scot isn’t thought to be interested in taking the role.
