Arsenal can move a step closer to the group stage of the 2014/15 Champions League Group Stage as they take on Besiktas in the first-leg of their qualifier.

The Gunners will be the favourites for the tie with their Turkish opponents having only made it this far by virtue of the fact Fenerbahce are banned for European matches.

Here is how CaughtOffside thinks Arsene Wenger’s men will lineup.

GK – Wojciech Szczesny

With David Ospina still out the 24-year-old will have another chance to prove he should be the No.1 goalkeeper.

RB – Mathieu Debuchy

Had a solid first Premier League game for the club on Saturday following his summer switch from Newcastle United and looks like a fine successor to Bacary Sagna.

CB – Calum Chambers

Another new signing now and at 19-years-old plays with a maturity and composure that defies his age, despite operating in central defence as opposed to his usual right-back.

CB – Laurent Koscielny

Has shaken off an Achilles injury that means the France international can resume his role at the back and stops Per Mertesacker being rushed back too early.

LB – Nacho Monreal

With Kieran Gibbs out it will be a rare opportunity for the Spaniard, who has failed to impress thus far during his time in North London.
