Old Trafford side chase Colombian.
Man United have turned their attentions to Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin with their efforts to land Juventus star Arturo Vidal appearing to stall.
The Daily Star claim that the Old Trafford side are now working on a deal to bring in with the player’s agent said to be fielding offers from a number of prospective suitors.
Hamburg, Sevilla, Wolfsburg and Zenit Saint Petersburg are all said to be keen but one imagines the allure of a move to Old Trafford would trump this quartet and Man United have apparently made an offer for the £18m rated San Siro star.
The 28 year old is looking to leave Inter Milan and is a player Louis van Gaal would like to bring in to help add some guile to his current midfield options.
Guarin moved to Italy in January 2012 following a hugely successful spell in Portugal with FC Porto with the Colombian securing three Primeira Liga titles and a Europa League winners medal during his four years at the club.
Van Gaal may look to play Guarin alongside new signing Ander Herrera in the centre of his Man United side.
