Ligue 1 big spenders PSG and AS Monaco are both said to be keen on welcoming in Chelsea keeper Petr Cech according to the Daily Mail.

The 32 year old Czech Republic international finds himself in an unfamiliar position warming the bench following Jose Mourinho’s decision to usher in youngster Thibaut Courtois to take his first team starting spot.

Cech is rightly considered one of the most consistent performers in his position and will have no shortage of offers if he does indeed feel the time is right to leave Stamford Bridge.

The former Rennes man has demanded assurances from Mourinho as to his future but clearly the Chelsea manager will have to deem one of his two top custodians as his regular starter and right now that would appear to leave Cech out in the cold.

Courtois has certainly earned the right to challenge Cech after spending three hugely successful seasons out on loan at Atletico Madrid, during which time the 21 year old secured a host of honours including La Liga, Europa League and Copa del Rey winners medals.

Cech is too good a player to be left warming the bench so one would expect the Blues star to leave this summer having racked up 470 appearances for the west London outfit.
