Xherdan Shaqiri has made more disgruntled comments regarding his Bayern Munich future. The Swiss winger was angered by being left on the bench for his club’s game with Wolfsburg on Friday.

The 22-year-old was linked with Liverpool earlier this summer, but the player elected to stay with the German champions and fight for his place. But after more murmurings of the players discontent, Goal.com believe that he could make a late move before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

Having arrived in Bavaria from Basel in the summer of 2012, Shaqiri has struggled to cement his place in the starting line-up due to tough competition from the likes of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.

Shaqiri was named as a substitute for Bayern’s 2-1 win in their Bundesliga opener on Friday, before he eventually came on for Mario Gotze with half an hour remaining.

Having been handed a starting spot for the DFL-Supercup defeat to Borussia Dortmund as well as the DFB-Pokal first round against Preussen Munster, he concedes that a return to the bench was frustrating.

“The coach has decided it so you have to accept it,” the Switzerland international told Blick. “I have to deal with it and try to impose myself [on the team]. Clearly you’re disappointed if you are not in the starting line-up.”

The source adds that Bayern have always maintained that the Switzerland star will not be sold and Shaqiri – who has a contract with until June 2016 – was eager to ignore questions about his future.
