The north London side have started the season with back to back wins against local rivals West Ham and QPR and Pochettino may look to make late moves in the summer transfer window and as such may look favourably upon offers for players who he deems as surplus to requirements.

AS Roma are said to be courting Vlad Chiriches as a possible replacement for Mehdi Benatia, with the Moroccan international strongly linked with a Stadio Olimpico exit and boss Rudi Garcia is also interested in Brazilian midfielder Sandro.

Inter Milan on the other hand are keen on Spanish forward Roberto Soldado who as yet has barely had a look-in this season, failing to make Tottenham’s starting eleven for both their opening Premier League fixtures.
