Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha is being strongly linked with a return to his old club Crystal Palace on a season-long loan, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The Eagles have just appointed Neil Warnock as their new manager to replace the recently-departed Tony Pulis, and it is said that the 65-year-old will be given £20m to spend on new signings before the end of the summer transfer window.

Zaha is thought to be the biggest name on Palace’s wish list, with the England international struggling badly to make an impression since moving to United from Palace last summer.

Once regarded as one of the most promising young talents in the country for his fine displays in the Championship for the London club, Zaha is now way down in the pecking order at Old Trafford after failing to impress for the club or during a loan spell with Cardiff City last season.

The 21-year-old would, however, we warmly welcomed back to Selhurst Park, where he remains a popular figure among the club’s fans, and a player of his potential could prove crucial in keeping the team in the Premier League this season as they prepare for a relegation battle.
