Arsenal Rocked As Roma Submit £15m Bid For Key Target

Italian giants rival Gunners for PSG starlet…

Rudi Garcia’s Roma outfit have rocked Arsenal’s transfer plans, with just three days of the window remaining…

The Italian giants have submitted a €15m bid for PSG youngster Adrien Rabiot, according to respected French publication L’Equipe.

The report claims PSG have accepted the offer too, meaning that Arsenal will surely have to move very quickly if they are to snatch the sublimely talented midfielder from Roma’s grasp.

Rabiot became openly available after failing to agree terms on a new deal in Paris, which caused multiple clubs in Europe to try and lure him, with the promise of the large contract he was denied at his boyhood club.

Roma will now discuss personal terms with Rabiot, who doesn’t turn 20 until next April.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was coy on links to Rabiot, although he failed to rule out the possibility of a move for the French wonderkid.

“I can’t tell you about Rabiot,” Wenger said, reported in the Express.

“If something happens, you will of course be informed.”

Arsenal fans may not be too disappointed on missing out on Rabiot provided they sign a striker before the end of the window. With Olivier Giroud out until Christmas, many feel that the Gunners could struggle unless they buy a forward to spearhead the side in Giroud’s absence.
