Manchester United are set to make their latest big money summer signing, with versatile Ajax defender Daley Blind having been pictured arriving in the city for a medical ahead of his £13.8 million move from the Dutch Eredivisie champions going through.
Blind has been named as the 2013/14 Dutch football of the year and is expected to be a useful capture for United as they look for some flexibility to help Louis van Gaal build his 3-4-1-2 system, which again stuttered in a 0-0 draw at Burnley this afternoon.
