Check in to QPR vs Sunderland

QPR are looking to bring in Tottenham enforcer Sandro according to the Daily Mirror.

Loftus Road boss Harry Redknapp wants to reunite with his former White Hart Lane charge, who has fallen down Mauricio Pochettino’s pecking order, and chairman Tony Fernandes has sanctioned an offer for the 25 year old.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has already turned down an offer from Napoli for the Brazilian international but a good offer from QPR could see a deal completed before the transfer window slams shut in 48 hours time.

Redknapp has been pursuing a myriad of defensive midfielders this summer with West Ham’s Mohamed Diame known to be a target and should Tottenham sell Sandro then Pochettino would perhaps make a renewed bid for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Sandro made just ten Premier League starts last term and has fallen out of Brazil’s national team set-up as a result and could well be open to a move from north to west London.
