Big signing gets big ovation.
Former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song was presented to the West Ham United fans after completing his move from Barcelona on Saturday.
The Cameroon international, who joined the Hammers on a season-long loan, lapped up the applause at Upton Park ahead of kick-off in the Premier League match against Southampton.
Song will wear the number 30 shirt at West Ham.
The last five West Ham players to wear 30 were Raphael Spiegel, Frederic Piquionne, James Tomkins, Clive Clarke and Sebastian Schemmel.
Song could not play against the Saints as he had not been signed in time to be registered.
He could make his Hammers debut at Hull City on September 15.
