Juan Mata has welcomed Angel Di Maria and Danny Blind to Manchester United, even though the Red Devils have yet to officially unveil Blind.

The Spanish playmaker welcomed the arrival of the two players on Twitter.

Blind arrived in Manchester over the weekend to complete his £15 million move to Old Trafford. The Dutchman has yet to be unveiled as a Manchester United player but it seems only a matter of time before the midfielder’s transfer from Ajax is confirmed.

Di Maria joined United for a British record £60 million last week and made his debut in the Red Devils 0-0 draw against Burnley at the weekend.

In his own personal blog, Mata also paid tribute to Shinji Kagawa, who left United to re-join Borussia Dortmund yesterday.

“I would also like to wish all the best to Shinji Kagawa, a fantastic player but especially a great person,” Mata said.

United are set to be busy during transfer deadline day with the club reportedly set to sign Monaco striker Radamel Falcao on a year long loan deal.

The club are also hoping to sign Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal and AC Milan enforcer Nigel De Jong.
