Former Man United man’s return to Germany proving very popular.
It seems that that move to bring back Shinji Kagwawa to the Westfalenstadion is already paying off with the Bild reporting that the club’s shop has sold 5000 shirts with the Japanese international’s name emblazoned on the back in just one day.
The 25 year old’s two season spell at Old Trafford proved something of a damp squib, with the playmaker failing to live up to performances he put in at Borussia Dortmund. Last term Kagawa failed to net a single goal in 30 appearances for Man United.
Boss Jurgen Klopp will hope Kagawa makes an immediate impact at Borussia Dortmund and will look to the attacker to reach the heights of his previous spell at the club, during which the Kobe born star secured back to back Bundesliga titles.
