Former Barca star all set for Anfield move.
Former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes is set to undergo a medical with Liverpool this week after agreeing personal terms on a deal to join the club, according to the Metro.

Valdes is still a free agent after being released by the Catalan giants at the end of last season and he saw a move to Monaco fall through this summer after they expressed concerns over his long term fitness.
Valdes has been suffering with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, which has kept him out of action since March, and Brendan Rodgers has ordered a series of thorough tests to ensure that he is up to the task.
The Reds have left enough space in their 25-man squad to accommodate the Spanish international, and would be able to wrap up a deal to sign him outside the transfer window as he is a free agent.
It’s thought that the Spain international has agreed a two-year contract and he will go head-to-head with first-choice Simon Mignolet to be the Reds’ regular shot-stopper.
