Reds wonderkid has been in electric form for club and country.

Young Liverpool midfielder Suso has lavished praise on his teammate Raheem Sterling, report the Express, after the exciting teenager continued to blossom as a key player for both club and country with his recent performances, having been one of few bright sparks from England’s tepid friendly victory over Norway on Wembley evening.

Sterling has been in superb form for Liverpool also at the start of the Premier League season, scoring the opening goals in their victories over Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur, whilst also looking like the most dangerous attacking threat on the field during the Reds’ 3-0 win at White Hart Lane last weekend.

He is set to start England’s 2016 European Championship qualifying clash against Switzerland in Basel on Monday evening, having become a key part of Roy Hodgson’s side, and teammate Suso was full of praise for the 19 year-old:

“He was man of the match for England against Norway and it’s really nice to see how he has grown playing alongside him.”

“He is a really nice lad as well because he always listens to you every time you talk with him and if has to learn something he learns it. He is a fantastic boy to be honest.”

Suso himself is yet to hit the same heights at Anfield, having struggled to trouble the first team since returning from a loan spell with La Liga side Almeria last season, although reports linking him with a permanent return to Spain this summer proved to be wide of the mark.
