World champions Germany host Scotland this evening in their first competitive match since lifting the famous trophy against Argentina in Rio de Janeiro back in July, with Gordon Strachan’s Scotland the visitors to Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park.

Joachim Low has opted to play with Mario Gotze as a false nine and rampaging attacking midfielders Thomas Muller, Andre Schurrle and Marco Reus playing just in behind the man who won them football’s biggest prize.
For visitors Scotland, Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher captains the side, with in-form Everton man Steven Naismith likely to be their biggest goal threat on the break.
