Tottenham will look to sell Aaron Lennon in January after efforts to offload the England winger over the summer failed to come to fruition according to the Daily Mirror.

QPR, West Ham, Everton and Newcastle United were all said to be interested in the 27 year old White Hart Lane attacker but no move was forthcoming but Mauricio Pochettino will hope to complete a sale when the transfer window re-opens.

Pochettino does not see the former Leeds United man as part of his plans and the good form shown by Erik Lamela and Nacer Chadli thus far this season would seem to be the final nail in Lennon’s Spur coffin.

Tottenham signed Lennon in a bargain £1m deal back in 2005, such was Leeds United’s desire to balance the books following their relegation to the Championship, and the speedster has made 348 appearances for the north London side, scoring 30 goals in the process.

A move to reunite with former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road may be one that Lennon is open to considering.
