Vidal was reportedly a target for Manchester United during the summer transfer window with manager Louis Van Gaal said to be a huge admirer of the Chilean enforcer.

However, the Dutchman was apparently put off buying Vidal because of the problems that the 27 year old has had with his knees.

The former Bayer Leverkusen man has now moved to quash rumours that he has suffered a recurrence of his injury and claims that his knee is now ”100%”.

“You can relax, my knee is back to 100 per cent,” Vidal reporters according to Football Italia.

“Now I am ready for the flight to Turin and in this game I proved that I can play in every Juventus match this season.

“I feel in great shape. We have a series of big games coming up: Udinese, then the Champions League and after that Milan.

“They will all be tough, I will have to be 100 per cent, but tonight I proved that I can play a full match without problems.”

Reports today suggested that Juventus are now happy to sell Vidal to Manchester United after being determined not to throughout the summer. The Italian Champions could be willing to sell their star midfielder if United are happy to include Juan Mata as part of the deal.
