Tuesday’s biggest stories for the Reds.
Juventus are interested in Liverpool defender Glen Johnson
The Italian champions are eyeing up a cut-price deal for the right-back with Johnson having entered the final year of his current contract at Anfield, according to the Mirror.
Currently the 30-year-old is set to leave on a free transfer in the summer of 2015 with no new deal on Merseyside looking close to being agreed.
That is why Juve are lining up a bid for Johnson in January, making him the third English full-back to head to Serie A in recent times along with Ashley Cole and Micah Richards.
