Suso looks set to sign for AC Milan when his contract runs out at the end of the campaign…
It looks like talented young Spanish playmaker Suso will never make the grade at Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers…
Respected transfer guru and Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio has claimed via his official website that the 20-year-old starlet has already agreed to move to AC Milan when his contract expires at the end of the season.
This means the Reds will be losing the talented midfielder for nothing, and AC Milan will in turn be picking up a potentially very good creative star for a complete bargain.
Suso burst onto the scene when Rodgers first took charge of the club two seasons ago, making 14 Premier League appearances. Despite being highly regarded by fans at the time, he was sent on loan to Almeria last term, when again, he did relatively well – making 33 La Liga appearances in total.
He scored three goals during Liverpool’s pre-season, but hasn’t even made the bench so far for the Reds since the start of the campaign, with the likes of Raheem Sterling, Coutinho and new signing Lazar Markovic ahead of him in the pecking order.
With Adam Lallana also returning to fitness, it seems like Suso’s playing opportunities would be very limited, and it’s perhaps best for both parties if he were to move on.
