FC Barcelona right-back Dani Alves is a shock target for Liverpool
The Brazil international has entered the final year of his current contract at the Nou Camp and is not expected to be offered a new deal.
The Daily Express reports that both the Reds and Manchester United are prepared to offer Alves a one-year contract to bring him to the Premier League.
However, they face stiff competition from fellow interested parties Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.
