Wenger has been left sweating on the fitness of the Welshman after he limped out of his country’s 2-1 victory over Andorra on Tuesday night and believes he has just a ‘little chance’ at making the squad to take on the defending champions in this weekend’s crucial clash.

Ramsey was forced off towards the end of the game against Andorra with an ankle problem that many believed was caused by the artificial pitch that the sides were forced to play on.

“He [Ramsey] will be assessed today and he has a little chance to be available for Saturday,” Wenger said at an Arsenal press conference today.

”Will it be enough to be available for Saturday? We’ll know today.”

However, Wenger did confirm that previously injured duo Kieran Gibbs and Mikel Arteta have resumed regular training with further good news coming in the shape of Mesut Ozil. The German international did not play against Scotland during the week and may be in line for a return to the side this weekend.
