Falcao was acquired in somewhat surprising fashion from AS Monaco on-loan on transfer deadline day, whilst Blind was signed from Ajax for £13.8m.
The striker will be the first player to don the No.9 jersey since Dimitar Berbatov, whilst the Netherlands international has taken the No.17 vacated by Nani.
