And on Wednesday it was confirmed that the striker would be available to make his debut in the El Classico encounter at the end of October.
Suarez seemingly buoyed by the news, took to training by nutmegging his fellow summer arrival Thomas Vermaelen to show that he is still sharp and looking forward to making his long awaited debut.
