Etihad Stadium move an option for Real Madrid star.
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo could be on his way to Manchester City in what would prove a sensational coup according to the Daily Express.
Cristiano Ronaldo latest: Man United ready to offer £60m for former Old Trafford hero
The 29 year old is determinted to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season having apparently ‘fallen out of love’ with the Spanish giants.
Real Madrid will apparently demand £60m for the Bernabeu star and a move to Man City is apparently an option and clearly the Etihad Stadium side are well known for having vast sums available to invest in new additions.
This source claims Man City have attempted to lure Ronaldo back to the Premier League in the past and also cites Louis van Gaal’s interest in a number of other options ahead of a move to bring back the former Man United hero.
Cash-rich Ligue 1 side PSG are said to be another who would be able to meet Ronaldo’s, and Real Madrid’s, demands and a move to the French capital may tempt the Portuguese international.
Ronaldo has been a massive hit since moving to Real Madrid in the summer of 2009, scoring an astonishing 256 goals in 251 appearances, but his side have collected just one La Liga title in his five completed seasons at the club and having suffered two defeats in their opening three domestic league fixtures it’s a fair bet a second won’t occur in 2014/15.
