Arsenal’s two summer signings are expected to start in Arsenal’s Champions League clash against Dortmund tonight, with Klopp well aware of the danger the pair pose to his side.

“They have signed two outstanding players in Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez, who will give them even more pace,” said Klopp.

“I’m expecting the Gunners to try and utilise this on Tuesday. But first and foremost, both teams will have to be fully focused and defend well.”

Alexis Sanchez has scored in his past three appearances for the Gunners, including a fantastic volley against Manchester City on the weekend.

Arsene Wenger’s side has a good record against German clubs in the competition, winning 1-0 at the Westfalenstadion against Dortmund last year.

The Gunners are without a number of key defensive players as they head to Germany though, so they may need their attacking players to pick up the slack.
