Premier League pair chasing unsettled Spaniard.Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly readying January bids for Real Madrid outcast Isco, who is unhappy with his role at the club, according to the Daily Express.
The 22-year-old only moved to the Bernabeu last summer, having spurned offers from England after impressing greatly at his previous club Malaga, where he became regarded as one of the most exciting young players in Europe.
However, first-team opportunities have been hard to come by at Real, with a host of other high-quality attacking midfield players ahead of him in the pecking order, including this summer’s signings Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez.
This now looks set to spark January interest in Isco from both Arsenal and Liverpool, who have also recently been linked with a move for another La Liga-based player in a similar situation, Barcelona winger Pedro.
However, with Juventus supposedly winning the race for his signature at the moment, it looks as though the Gunners and the Reds have switched their focus to attempting to lure Isco away from Spain.
The classy playmaker would fit in well with both teams’ attacking style, though both Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers already have plenty of options in that part of the pitch themselves.
