Confirmed lineups for today’s clash at Villa Park.Arsenal have opted to persevere with Mesut Ozil in their starting lineup for today’s trip to face Aston Villa, but Arsene Wenger has dropped Jack Wilshere.

The England international was Man of the Match in last week’s draw with Manchester City, scoring a goal and providing an assist for Alexis Sanchez, but has made way for Santi Cazorla this afternoon, with Aaron Ramsey dropping back alongside Mikel Arteta.
With Cazorla on the left and Sanchez on the right, Ozil will finally get the chance to play in his preferred central role, and will have to take the opportunity to impress as he continues to come under scrutiny.
Meanwhile, home side Villa name a strong lineup, with Gabriel Agbonlahor leading the attack after netting the winner against Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.

UPDATE: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is now in the starting lineup with Alexis Sanchez dropping to the bench, possibly due to an injury in the warm-up or a team sheet error.
