United fans vindicate van Persie for his choice to swap London for Manchester by stating that he won a league title during his first season with the club, something he failed to do his entire time with Arsenal.
There is no denying however that his career has taken a bit of a nosedive since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, and with the Dutchman getting on in years he may not have many more chances at silverware.
