(Video) Frank Lampard Refers To New Club Man City As ‘They’ After Scoring Against Chelsea

Blues legend still clearly feels part of the Chelsea family.

Former Chelsea star Frank Lampard has yet to adjust to life away from Stamford Bridge yet, despite scoring against his old mates in Blue, he made the comical error of referring to Man City as “they” in the post match interview.

After 13 years at Chelsea, Lampard is signed to stillborn MLS franchise New York City, who don’t actuallly start life until February 2015; in the meantime, he’s taken a loan move to Man City to keep fit and fresh.

And though he will only be at the Etihad for a few months, signs are clearly showing that he has yet to take to his new surroundings.

When asked about how City earned the hard fought point after the game, he said: “They deserved a draw, when they went down to 10 men they pushed on.”
