The Etihad Stadium side have seen their homegrown contingent greatly reduced of late with the likes of Gareth Barry, Joleon Lescott, Jack Rodwell, Scott Sinclair and Micah Richards all leaving and as such boss Manuel Pellegrini must look to keep hold of both England talents.

Utility man Milner has seen a fair bit of action thus far this term, starting recent fixtures against Arsenal and Chelsea, and with the 28 year old’s contract expiring next summer the Premier League title holders are looking to secure the former Leeds United, Aston Villa and Newcastle United man to a fresh deal.

Keeper Hart has two years to run on his contract but nonetheless Pellegrini will move to offer the custodian a new deal with fears that new signing Willy Caballero taking his spot between the sticks seemingly allayed.

Joe Hart has started all five of Man City’s Premier League fixtures and put in a superb display against Bayern Munich in their Champions League opener at the Allianz Arena.
