Liverpool wonderkid Raheem Sterling has been named as the club’s Player of the Month for September.
The Reds have struggled in September so far, winning just two of their four matches, including their 14-13 penalty shootout victory over Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup.
However, Sterling has been in good form, terrorising defences with speedy runs and scoring a very good goal in Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat to West Ham United last weekend.
Sterling was presented with his award courtesy of club sponsor Standard Chartered on Thursday.
