It just seems to go from bad to worse for misfiring forward Roberto Soldado, who smashed the ball against the post tonight, as he attempted to turn it back into the net.

Soldado was following up Ryan Mason’s strike, which had already found the net, and was hoping to emphatically smash the rebounding ball back into the goal, but somehow failed to do so from just a couple of yards out.
Despite this horrible moment, Soldado would find the net later in the evening, as Tottenham defeated Nottingham Forest 3-1 in the Capital One Cup.
