Newcastle lost 1-0 to Stoke City on Monday night.
Newcastle fans have been reacting to the news that Alan Pardew will remain the Magpies boss with a mix of shock and dismay.

The former West Ham manager has led his side to just five league victories this year with none coming during the new season.
This has meant that Newcastle are already in the relegation zone and after it was confirmed that Pardew would keep his job, some members of the Toon Army were already getting ready for life in the Championship.

Other fans choose to suggest that Pardew isn’t going to get the sack because he still has six years to run on his current contract.
