The 25-year-old has been fantastic for the Catalan giants since joining from Valencia in 2012, but with rumours suggesting that Barca boss Luis Enrique is set to make a several high profile changes in the near future, a number of clubs have been put on alert.

Arsenal have Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal who can play in that position, but with the Englishman’s injury record and questions over the quality of their current Spaniard, Arsenal fans would certainly welcome a player of Alba’s quality to the club.
Manchester United are also said to be interested in right-back Dani Alves, so a double deal in January could be done. Arsenal may prefer to wait until next summer to snap Alba up, with a £25m price tag apparently put on his head by Barcelona.
