United favourites to land unsettled wide-man.
Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado is said to be keen on making the move to the Premier League next summer as he stalls on signing a new contract with his current club, according to Fichajes.net.
The Colombian international has been one of the most impressive attacking midfield players in Serie A for some time now, and was strongly linked with Manchester United for much of the summer, with the Red Devils also thought to be keen on landing him when the transfer window re-opens in January as well.
However, Cuadrado seems set to remain with Fiorentina for one more season before moving on next summer, with England supposedly his preferred destination as he ponders the next step in his career.
Barcelona have also been strongly linked with the skillful South American in the past, but it may now be that United will be the favourites to snap him up as he harbours ambitions of playing in the Premier League.
Louis van Gaal spent big on several new signings this summer, and the arrival of a world class talent like Cuadrado would be another top-class addition to the Dutchman’s squad as he looks to get the club back to its best.
